Never miss out on another must take wedding photo. This post is here to provide you with some inspiration on a few shots which should be added to your “must-have’s” from a wedding shoot.
1. The Rings.
It’s important to catch even the tiniest details of the wedding day, including the rings. The ring is a symbol of “eternity”, of being bound to your other half for the rest of your lives. It is important to remind everyone of that consistent and solid infinity, the promise to spend the remainder of your days tied to the person you’re choosing.
2. The Dress.
A bride gets to be a princess for one day, to play dress-up as a grown up. Trust me when I say, she is going to want to remember what that dress looked like – as she will be replaying that entire day over and over and over again.
3. The Reaction.
Regardless of the wedding, the location or any circumstance – the reaction when the groom/bride sees their future walking towards them is always priceless and is definitely a must-catch moment.
4. The Kiss.
This moment will never repeat itself again. No pressure, but it’s on you to capture the moment where the bride and groom (or bride and bride/groom and groom for that matter) share their first moment as a newlywed couple.
5. The Portraits.
The time which you get with the special couple is an incredibly important one. These are the images which they will look back on through the tough times and remember why they fell in love. It’s important to try and capture both shots of them individually and together so that they have plenty to look back on.
6. The Groups.
Make sure to ask your client beforehand which family members they must catch photos with. As a typical rule, grab the couple with the groomsmen, bridesmaids and whatever family they want images with.
7. Getting Ready.
Some of the sweetest and most emotional moments happen before the wedding.
8. The Cake.
You’ve got to cover the sweet stuff. At the end of the day – that is the highlight of everyone’s day 😉
